We started this business in the spring of 2024. We are three friends that thought it would be fun to own a bar. We all love serving people and making drinks. We thought this would be a great way to share what we like to do with others.

Our Story

Jacob Staroska – Born and raised in Grinnell, IA. Graduated from DMACC for culinary arts. Has eight years in the food industry. He loves cats, making/eventing new cocktails and enjoys working in his garden. Jacob brings the food knowledge to the business.

Bryce DeKoning – Born and raised in Grinnell, IA. Bryce graduated from UNI with an Accounting and MIS degrees. He has been working in the tax industry for the past five years. Bryce brings the business side to the business.

Ashley DeKoning – Born and raised in Montezuma, IA. Graduated from Hawkeye Community College with a degree in Ag Science. She works on the family farm just outside of Montezuma. Ashley brings the creative side to the business.
