Old Fashioned Spirits is a mobile bartending service based in Grinnell Iowa. It is our goal to provide excellent service and great tasting beverages for any event or gathering. We will do whatever we can to make the planning of your event stress free and easy by providing you with all the information needed from menu and specialty drink creation to how much product is needed. Ashley DeKoning is from Grinnell and is the wife of Bryce and mom of Dawson. Ashley enjoys spending time with her family and working on her family’s farm. She bartends at the events and helps run the Old Fashioned Spirits social media.
Bryce DeKoning is from Grinnell and is the husband of Ashley and dad of Dawson. Bryce spends his time with his family, fishing, and hunting. During the day, Bryce works as a staff accountant at a local accounting firm. For Old Fashioned Spirits, Bryce works primarily in the background on bookkeeping and administrative tasks.
Jacob Staroska grew up in Grinnell Iowa where he gained his interest in culinary arts. After attending culinary school he returned to Grinnell where he works as a chef in town. In Jacobs role as a chef he has experience in catering, cooking, creating recipes, and managing food establishments. He is passionate about his career and loves to be creative not only in food but in mixology as well. Testing new drinks and creating classics has helped develop the skills needed to be a great mixologist. Jacobs role in Old Fashioned Spirits is to assist customers with menu and drink creation, to make planning of events easy and stress free, as well as tending to the bar itself.
